Horseshoe Substructure
Horseshoe Substructures Are The Efficient Choice
By using our horseshoe substructures, oilfield operators are reducing emissions and helping minimize the risk of spills. These substructures are simple to create and maintain, making them an efficient choice. Therefore the “horseshoe” shape of the structure is used to increase the amount of oil that can be extracted and the overall production of the oilfield. making it a cost-effective solution as well. This technology is becoming increasingly popular due to its ability to increase the yield of an oilfield, and we are proud to be a company that uses them.
Our Horseshoe Substructure has a 7 ft. by 4 ft. wide footprint, is 3000 lbs (jack weight), and can work with 160 000 LBS of weight. Underneath, the structure floor has loft clearance. Furthermore, the substructure is great to use for clearing stuck pipe, wellhead, and rods without putting weight on the BOP (A blowout preventer). All weight is concentrated onto the substructure to avoid putting pressure on the BOP.
Our C-Plate shoes are designed to increase safety and efficiency, saving time on projects. With a unique horseshoe design, our units are used with ease compared to the more time-consuming and dangerous full-circle models. View
About Horseshoe Substructures
The Horseshoe substructure has been designed to comply with site safety regulations. Therefore, it provides adequate safety for onsite workers and visitors during push/pull operations. Safety compliance ensures that the drilling operation can be carried out without any risks or hazards.
Additionally, our Horseshoe substructure is built to last. Its sturdy construction, excellent steel capacity, and premium-grade materials make it durable and long-lasting, even in harsh and demanding drilling environments. Furthermore, the substructure has a 7 ft. by 4 ft. wide footprint, is 3000 lbs (jack weight), and can work with 160 000 LBS of weight. Underneath, the structure floor has loft clearance. The substructure is excellent for clearing stuck pipe, wellhead, and rods without putting weight on the BOP (A blowout preventer). All weight is concentrated onto the substructure to avoid putting pressure on the BOP. Contact Pipe Sliders Ltd. to learn more.
Our C-Plates
C-plates, also known as transition plates, are the connecting links between the horseshoe substructure and the derrick or mast. The function of c-plates is to distribute weight evenly across the horseshoe substructure. furthermore, this ensures that the substructure can bear the load without any deformation or collapse. They are designed according to the exact specifications of the horseshoe substructure of the oil rig. Therefore our C-Plate shoes are designed to increase safety and efficiency, saving time on projects. View
